The Rotary Club of Fort Myers South will honor Lee County Law Enforcement heroes on Saturday, Sept.14 at Hertz Arena. The black-tie optional gala features cocktails, hors-d’oeuvres, formal dinner, silent and live auctions, and entertainment.

Tickets are still available for the 2019 Law & Order Ball and may be purchased at www.LawandOrderBall.org or by calling 239-277-6295. Individual tickets are $175 and a table for 10 is $1,750. Those unable to attend can still participate by sponsoring an officer to attend the event, donating items for the silent and live action or Packing a Paddy Wagon.

A reimagined version of an officer vehicle, “Pack the Paddy Wagon” offers participants a fun and interactive way to support Law and Order Ball by packing a cardboard police car full of goodies to be auctioned off at the event. Themes for the Paddy Wagon’s can range from “A Night out at the Movies,” “Tailgate Party,” “Sun N Fun,” “Barbeque Blitz,” and more. A prize will also be awarded for the most creative Paddy Wagon. Contents for the Paddy Wagon’s should value a minimum of $200, and will help generate funds for local charities and law enforcement youth programs. Cardboard paddy wagon supplies provided.

The Law and Order Ball also recognizes our Lee County law enforcement agencies: Cape Coral Police Department, Florida Gulf Coast University Police Department, Florida Southwestern State College Police Department, Fort Myers Police Department, Lee County Port Authority Police, Lee County Sheriff’s Office, and Sanibel Police Department. One hero from among all participating agencies will be recognized during a special presentation of the prestigious “Officer of the Year” award.

Creighton Construction and Development has returned for the sixth year as the Law & Order Ball’s presenting sponsor. Additional sponsors include: Bank of the Ozarks, Cape Coral Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, Edison National Bank, FineMark National Bank & Trust, Fort Myers Police Department, Gravina, Smith, Matte & Arnold Marketing and Public Relations, Geraghty, Dougherty & Stockman, P.A., Henderson Franklin Attorneys at Law, Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Mark Loren Designs, Millennium Physicians Group, Park Royal Hospital, Premium Deli Provisions, RapidPrint, Sam Galloway Ford, Suncoast Credit Union, Southwest Florida Public Service Academy, Wellpath, and WINK News.
