Following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID pandemic, the Rotary Club of Fort Myers South announced the return of its signature fundraising and community event the Law and Order Ball last fall. However, Hurricane Ian’s impact on Southwest Florida caused postponement of the original October 15th date! The event has now been RESCHEDULED to Saturday, June 3, 2023.

This year also marks a move to a new venue – the Suncoast Credit Union Arena at Florida SouthWestern State College in Fort Myers, Florida. Previously, the event was held at Hertz Arena for several years, and originally at Harborside (Caloosa Sound).

The Law and Order Ball honors officers from throughout seven local branches of law enforcement in Lee County, Florida.  This year’s black-tie-optional event theme is 007, featuring cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, awards, fun and interactive fundraisers and ends with a presentation of the K-9 of the Year and the Officer of the Year Award.

Creighton Development and Construction is returning as Title Sponsor for 2022. Additional major sponsors include the Cape Coral Jeep, the Galloway Family of Dealerships, and Mark Loren Designs, as well as media sponsor WINK-TV.

Opportunities for sponsorship and program advertising are now available. Tickets will be available soon at $200 per person, “fund a cop” seats at the same price, or a Chow Hall table sponsorship for $2,000.

Proceeds benefit the community through the Rotary Club of Fort Myers South Foundation (a 501(c)3 non-profit) and law enforcement youth programs.
