Rotary Club of Fort Myers South organizes gala to honor uniformed heroes

Rotary Club of Fort Myers South is proud to name Creighton Commercial Development and Ada’s Natural Market as Title Sponsor of the Inaugural Law & Order Ball. Owners pledged $25,000 in support of the Inaugural Law & Order Ball to be held October 10th at 5:30 p.m. at Harborside Event Center in downtown Fort Myers. The event will honor local uniformed heroes in seven law enforcement agencies who keep us safe and enable us to build our businesses and thrive as a community.

The agencies involved who will be recognizing officers are: Cape Coral Police Department, Florida SouthWestern State College Police Department, Florida Gulf Coast University Police Department, Fort Myers Police Department, Lee County Port Authority Police, Lee County Sheriff’s Office and Sanibel Police Department. Each of the agencies will nominate officers for the “Officer of the Year” award. An independent committee will select five finalists that will be announced in September. One special hero will be awarded the night of the Law & Order Ball, and receive a custom designed piece by Rotarian Mark Loren of Mark Loren Designs.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available, with major sponsors being honored at a special VIP reception starting at 5 p.m. the night of this black tie-optional event. All proceeds will benefit the Rotary Club of Fort Myers South Foundation and Lee County law enforcement youth programs.

The Law & Order Ball will include cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, a sumptuous dinner, and a silent and live auction. Entertainment will be provided by the popular local band Alter Ego, featuring retired Assistant U.S. Attorney Doug Molloy.

Other sponsors include Galloway Dealerships, Florida Weekly, The News-Press Media Group, TOTI Media, LeeSar, The Eventful Company, Harborside Event Center, CONRIC PR & Marketing | Publishing, Loren Designs, Bireley Family Fund, Fuccillo Kia of Cape Coral, Southern Wine and Spirits and Suncoast Beverage.
